Invitation to Fountain of Innovation and Invention; The Youth;

Today’s aim of our University’s Industrial Design Department which provides education and training for many years, is educating the best and most creative designers who can carry Yeditepe’s identity and solve the Turkish industry’s problems of today and future in an environment of science and art.

Our department which is including a broad industrial area of daily or long lasting consumption products as well as investment products, automotive, furniture, packaging and etc. has a classic education thought that comes from the academic tradition that appreciates talent, but also has an understanding that reckons this age’s technology, art and trends. Therefore, our department carries on its system of choosing talented candidates which is natural to this profession since the day that our university founded.

An important feature of a education program that intended for different branches of mastery is that this profession’s design areas and topics considers a connection between universal research and production conditions as well as this country’s realities and future. Therefore, it is important for us that our students could be equipped with design skills that can be used at any establishment around the world. That way; we allow a cultural and corporate relationship in education and real life.

We are confidently keeping our belief of accompanying with a youth that is ready for the future, equipped with art and science, can design new and up-to-date systems and products, and can’t be stopped with any form of limitations.
