    About

    The ICT industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world. As a result there's a huge demand for industry-ready ICT graduates who have the right mix of technological skills and business awareness.

    The depth of business enterprise and project-based learning sets the MInfoTech apart from other qualifications. During the programme, you’ll complete a 10-week internship where you’ll work on a real-world project.

    The ICT Graduate School is a collaboration between the University of Auckland and the University of Waikato and offers postgraduate study in Information Technology
    that aims to develop smart, industry-ready ICT graduates who will meet this
    need. The MInfoTech will be awarded jointly by the University of Auckland and the University of Waikato.

    You must have completed a bachelors (honours) degree or postgraduate diploma in an IT-related field with a GPA of 4.5. 60 points must be from courses above stage III.

    An IT-related field is a discipline such as computer science, information systems or software engineering.

    Please note: If you already hold a masters degree in the same (or substantially similar) field of study, you may not be eligible for this programme.

    You must have completed a bachelors degree in an IT-related field with a GPA of 4.5. 60 points must be from courses at Stage II.

    An IT-related field is a discipline such as computer science, information systems or software engineering.

    Please note: If you already hold a masters degree in the same (or substantially similar) field of study, you may not be eligible for this programme.

    You must have completed an undergraduate degree, in any discipline, at a recognised university (or similar institution) with a GPA of 4.5.

    Alternatively, you must have a Bachelors degree and passed 60 points toward the Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology with a GPA of 4.5 (provided the postgraduate certificate has not been awarded).

    Other pathways to study

    Alternatively, you can gain entry to the 180-point masters if you have completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology with a GPA of 4.5 or higher.
