Bachelor of Science in Integrated Health Science

The Integrated Health Science (IHS) degree includes an interdisciplinary curriculum that will provide you with solid core knowledge of health and disease prevention, along with quality delivery and oversight of health services. The integrated health science degree allows you to increase your access to courses in your area of interest while tailoring the program to your healthcare career goals.

The Integrated Health Science major will prepare you to:

Become an informed and engaged health professional
Think critically about health-related issues
Work as part of a healthcare team to develop innovative solutions to current and future healthcare issues

You will learn to work collaboratively to solve complex issues impacting healthcare and the nation's health community. This degree will provide you with a broad understanding of human health, strategic planning, healthcare delivery systems, and ethics. You will learn effective and essential communication techniques, cultural sensitivity, critical thinking, digital technology, and teamwork.

Once you've declared Integrated Health Science as your major, please schedule a formal advising appointment with the Wellstar College Advising Center.

The B.S. in Integrated Health Science (IHS) program provides an interdisciplinary degree that enables you to pursue a career in healthcare. GPA Requirement

Graduation from high school with GPA of 2.5 with qualifying SAT/ACT test scores

(If educated outside of the United States, the required official evaluation
must indicate GPA)

First-Year Student Announcement:

First-year students applying to Kennesaw State University for the Summer, and Fall 2023 semesters may be admitted without an ACT or SAT score if they have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.

_{* Students who have a GPA of less than 3.2 should submit official ACT or SAT scores along with their high school transcript to be considered for admission.}

_{*For students who were educated outside the United States, the GPA must be reflected on the official evaluation (see requirements below). Kennesaw State will review the official evaluation.}
