UWS’s BA (Hons) Integrated Health & Social Care will help you build a career within the health and social care sector.

This degree reflects the changing environment within health and social care. It will allow you to explore the health and social care sector in response to changing demographics and the integration of services. The programme recognises the shift in services, from both a national and international perspective, and how they are moving towards prevention, person-centredness, enablement and empowerment of individuals and support within people’s homes. Central to the degree is valuing the role that all staff play in the implementation and delivery of integrated services.

The BA Integrated Health & Social Care is the first of its kind in Scotland and is specifically designed as a progression or articulation route for those candidates, who have a relevant Further Education college qualification, looking to strengthen their knowledge, skills and career in the rapidly changing environment of integrated health and social care provision. Articulation into year two or three is available for candidates with an appropriate HNC or HND.

*There is a flexible part-time option available for this programme.
