Overview The 124-hour program provides coursework with an emphasis on addressing English language learner needs in the classroom.During the program, students participate in field experiences, ending with a student teaching experience and the opportunity for Bilingual EC-6 certification.The Interdisciplinary Studies (Bilingual Education Emphasis) students at Texas A&M University are encouraged to participate in the Bilingual Education Student Organization (BESO) and the Texas Association at Texas A&M University for Bilingual Education (TABE).
