Our partnership with Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE) is a long-standing one, beginning over 20 years ago. SUIBE was first established as a Department of Foreign Languages for Foreign Trade. Then, in June 2013, Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade secured Chinese Ministry of Education approval to become the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics.
They offer a broad range of programmes and courses in English for International Business, English Language and Literature, Journalism, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (CTCFL), French and Japanese. SUIBE have developed their curriculum to reflect the globalised nature of business. They equip graduates with a global vision and high calibre skills in language, culture and communication.
The University’s mission is to advance the strengths of Shanghai and China in international trade and economics. SUIBE is actively engaged in high-level research in fields related to international trade through various research institutes.#
