    About

    Our International Child Rights and Development MA is a multidisciplinary course that will equip you with the academic and applied skills to explore how we can protect the rights of the most vulnerable children in society. You'll gain a deeper insight into what the possibilities are for working with, or on behalf of, young people in national and international contexts, and scrutinize how we can address the most pressing social issues related to childhood. This International Child Rights and Development MA is the only programme of its kind in the UK. It offers a unique blend of theory as well as being highly applied, enabling you to put the theory into practice. You'll enhance your academic understanding of international child rights and development, and reinforce your experience of working with vulnerable children in humanitarian aid, international development, policy and practice. You'll also get plenty of opportunities to learn from the best in the field, build your network, and be supported with bespoke career advice. This course is for UK and international graduates and professionals, wanting to obtain a global and holistic perspective on child rights and protection.

    Postgraduate taught courses

    Applicants who have completed a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Jordan will need to demonstrate the following grades to be considered for a Postgraduate course at King's:

    UK degree classification Jordanian equivalency

    High 2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    (equivalent to 65% overall)

    GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 80%

    2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 75%

    High 2:2 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 70%

    Postgraduate research courses

    A Master's degree from a recognised university with high grades considered for programmes requiring a UK Master's degree.

    English Program Requirements
