    The internationally oriented Master's programme Biofabrication is interdisciplinary in nature, representing an engineering curriculum at the intersection of technology, chemistry, material sciences, biology, and medicine. The programme is highly practice-oriented, offering you the opportunity to hone both your theoretical and practical skills. It covers the main topics Engineering Science, Material Sciences and the Natural Sciences, Advanced Modules, Transferable Skills, and a final Master's thesis. A detailed module handbook is provided for an overview of content and the qualification objectives of all modules, as well as the credits to be acquired as a measure of the workload and a description of the type of assessment components required for the award of credits. Module overview: Main topic Engineering Science: Biomaterials Computer Aided Engineering Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry Processing of Polymeric Materials One core elective modules Main topic Material Sciences and the Natural Sciences: Biofabrication Self-Assembling Biopolymers Cell Biology Fundamentals of Tissue Engineering and Quality Management One core elective modules Advanced Modules: Three advanced modules OR one international advanced module at an international partner university Summer School Transferable Skills: Scientific Working Management Training and Entrepreneurship
