    Do you have a passion for teaching and mentorship? Do you like working with children? Would you like to pursue a French-language career? If so, you may be the perfect fit for the B.Ed in Kindergarten and Elementary Education Pédagogie de l’immersion française (PIF). The program is an option embedded in the B.Ed Kindergarten and Elementary program (no additional credits are needed).

    This program is designed for students who wish to teach in French immersion contexts and consists of 30 credits of French and second language education courses.

    French Immersion is a common program across English schools in Quebec, and a very popular option across Canada. Opting for this program could increase your employability upon graduation.

    Applicants are reviewed on their high school transcript with particular emphasis on yearly averages and results in prerequisite subjects (prerequisite subjects must have been completed during the last two years of high school).

    Bologna-signatory countries

    McGill welcomes qualified applicants from throughout Europe, including from schools in Bologna signatory countries. Applicants will be considered for admission into McGill degree programs of similar duration as those at comparable, research-intensive universities in Europe. Accordingly, qualified applicants to the faculties of Arts, Education, and Management at McGill, with a Bologna-compliant diploma that leads to a three-year undergraduate program in Europe, will be admissible to a three-year program at McGill. Students in Management will be required to complete additional mathematics coursework.
