Kinesiology, the study of human movement, is also largely known as exercise or sport science. The Minor Kinesiology is designed to provide students in B.Sc. programs with basic but comprehensive knowledge of scientific bases of human physical activity and its relationship with health and well-being. Students registered in the Minor Kinesiology may not take additional courses outside the Faculties of Arts and of Science.

Applicants are reviewed on their high school transcript with particular emphasis on yearly averages and results in prerequisite subjects (prerequisite subjects must have been completed during the last two years of high school).

McGill welcomes qualified applicants from throughout Europe, including from schools in Bologna signatory countries. Applicants will be considered for admission into McGill degree programs of similar duration as those at comparable, research-intensive universities in Europe. Accordingly, qualified applicants to the faculties of Arts, Education, and Management at McGill, with a Bologna-compliant diploma that leads to a three-year undergraduate program in Europe, will be admissible to a three-year program at McGill. Students in Management will be required to complete additional mathematics coursework.
