Professional Accreditations
The Alternative Dispute Resolution: Processes and Practice module (LW6619) is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) at the Associate Level. Three modules are accredited with the Irish Professional Mediators’ Organisation (IPMO). Students who successfully complete the LLM in ADR, including the modules LW6665 Advanced Mediation Theory and Skills, LW6643 Negotiation & Mediation, and LW6667 Childrens’ Rights and Family Mediation Processes, will be recognised as a qualified mediator with the IPMO and will be eligible for membership with them, as a Newly Qualified Mediator Member. Graduates may need to undergo further training post-qualification and may incur additional fees from the professional award bodies in order to qualify for full accreditation.
