Overview You can choose to start your studies in the summer or fall in the Laws in American Legal Studies program and can take classes during the day or in the evening. Also, as a part of our holistic admission process, our Access Admission Program at Seattle University is available to select students who don't meet traditional admission criteria but show great promise for success in our JD programs. Beyond the juris doctor (JD), we offer specializations designed to give you the skills and knowledge to be competitive in the workforce.

Seattle University School of Law lets you choose the program that's right for you. In addition to our Full-Time Laws in American Legal Studies Program, we offer a Flex JD Program for working professionals, a variety of LLM programs, a Master of Legal Studies, and a two-year JD for foreign trained lawyers.

1 : To be eligible for admission to the LLM program, candidates must hold a JD degree or foreign equivalentPersonal statement (1-2 pages) that discusses your background, goals, how you plan to use your LLM degree, and any additional information you would like us to knowNonrefundable $65 (U.S.) application fee (waived for current Seattle U Law students and alumni)A resume or C.V.A list of three references (academic or professional references preferred but not required)For attorneys admitted to practice in any jurisdiction, a Certificate of Good Standing from each such jurisdiction (need not be submitted with application but must be submitted prior to the start of classes)
