The Leadership in Agriculture and Life Sciences minor is open to all interested baccalaureate students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The minor is especially appropriate for students enrolled in Agricultural and Life Sciences majors seeking a competitive edge when applying for supervisory or management positions in careers related to the Agriculture and Life Sciences industries. Students completing this minor will be able to apply the theory, principles, and skills required by leaders in their discipline.
Certification
To be admitted to the program, a student must have a GPA of at least 2.0. Application for admission to any University minor program is now available via MyPack Portal. Admission will be based upon the student's academic record, and in most cases no longer requires departmental review. Go to Add a Minor to apply. Certification must be submitted no later than the registration period for the student's final semester at NC State. The minor must be completed no later than the semester in which the student expects to graduate from his or her degree program.
