The Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) Certificate program provides students with an exciting, in-demand career in the legal industry.
Many of our instructors work in the legal field and offer real-life examples, tales of experience and networking opportunities.
Through our curricula, students master the core procedures for civil and family litigation, wills and probate, corporate law, conveyancing and mortgaging.
Three ways to study:
- Online part-time option: September intake with completion in 6 semesters;
- This option is ideal for those who are working full-time, or who have family obligations.
- Full-time online option with predefined hours: January intake with completion in July; or
- Full-time in-person option: September intake with completion in May.
There is a two-week practicum at the end of the program. Our instructors work with you and our industry partners to place you in a legal office setting. Many CapU grads are working right after their placements.
