The MSc Management (Operations and Supply Management) programme at Swansea University is for students with a clear interest in understanding how products and services are made and distributed and learning about how this process can be improved for 21st century companies. The degree has been specifically designed with a clear focus on management in an interconnected global community. The course offers you the opportunity to focus on modules relating to global supply chain management and project management. It also covers core management concepts such as managing financial resources, operations management, human resource management and marketing management. Accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence, the course is open to students from any discipline who would like to work in business or management. Upon successful completion of the relevant mapped modules within the MSc Management you will qualify for CMI’s Level seven Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership. Requirements
Entry Requirements
This is a conversion course targeted at students who do not have an undergraduate background in Business Management. Applicants from any undergraduate background will be considered.
To be eligible, you must attain a 2:2 in an undergraduate degree.
Students from Nigeria must attain a Bachelor Degree with Second Class Lower Division classification; or CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0; or CGPA 2.4 out of 5.0; or CGPA 3.0 out of 7.0.
Students from India must attain a Bachelor Degree with 55% overall; or CGPA 6.1 out of 10; or 4.5 out of 7.0; or 2.67 out of 4.0.
Students from other nations are advised to check International equivalence to a UK 2.2.
Non-native English speakers must achieve an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no component less than 5.5. A list of equivalent tests is provided here. If you have studied an undergraduate degree taught through the medium of English, you may be exempt from this requirement – click here for further information.
For students who fall short of only the English language requirement, we offer a range of Pre-Master's training programmes that you may take before starting your Master's qualification.
For students who fall significantly short of the general entry requirement, we offer a Pre-Master's programme via The College, Swansea University that will allow you entry on to our postgraduate programmes.
English Program Requirements
All students must demonstrate that they have achieved a certain level of English before starting their programme. You will need to provide a recognised English language test or qualification before you can be accepted to Swansea University

Please note that some research scholarship, funded positions, may require a higher English Language test score than standard to be obtained prior to enrolment or held at the point of application. If your English scores do not exactly meet our requirements, you could still be accepted if you successfully complete an English Language Pre-sessional Programme at Swansea’s English Language Training Services (ELTS) at the required level before starting your academic programme.
