    About

    The department participates in the Eller graduate program leading to the Doctor of Philosophy degree with a major in management. For admission, the applicant is expected to have completed undergraduate work in statistics and mathematics through calculus (MATH 119 and 123). Applications must submit scores on the Graduate Record Examination or the Graduate Management Admissions Test. The program for the Doctor of Philosophy degree (with a major in Management) is designed to prepare individuals for careers in academia, with an emphasis on the ability to make original and significant contributions to the disciplines of management and policy, and judgment and decision making, through high-quality research. To this end, the Ph.D. program provides strong theoretical and methodological training to doctoral students.

    • 3.0 GPA (successful applicants typically have 3.5+) with emphasis placed on upper-level undergraduate and prior graduate-level academic performance
