MARITIME STUDIES HESIS MASTER’S PROGRAMME
Overview
The Maritime Studies Master's Programme with Thesis was opened in the 2018-2019 academic year at the Institute of Social Sciences and started education in the 2019-2020 Fall semester. The programme, which was established with the principle of raising qualified graduates who can look at maritime studies from a broad perspective, education will continue with an interdisciplinary approach. The main purpose of the Thesis Master's programme in maritime studies is to provide a professional career development path for those who want to work in maritime transport and logistics, human resources in maritime and safety in maritime. The programme is unique with its sub-topics. In this sense, it distinguishes itself from other maritime-related postgraduate programmes within our university and is a first in our country.

The programme is suitable for four-year university graduates regardless of their departments, especially those who direct their career in the field of maritime and want to specialize in the field of maritime. Marine Studies Master's Program with Thesis
The aim of the Master's Programme in Maritime Studies is to develop analytical thinking skills based on a critical perspective with an interdisciplinary education. The programme provides individuals interested in maritime specialization and in-depth research in one of three topics (Maritime Transport and Logistics, Maritime Human Resources, Maritime Safety). It is aimed that students evaluate the information they have obtained in their undergraduate education with language, concepts and methods specific to maritime.

MARITIME STUDIES GRADUATE PROGRAMME
Overview
The aim of the Maritime Studies Graduate Programme is to provide students with advanced education in the field of maritime and to improve their ability to conduct independent scientific research. In the program, researches are carried out in the fields of "Maritime Transport and Logistics", "Human Resources in Maritime" and "Safety in Maritime". The program provides individuals with the opportunity to do a doctorate in one of these 3 topics. The program is 30% in English. The purpose of the Maritime Studies Graduate Programme is to develop analytical thinking skills based on a critical perspective through an interdisciplinary education.

The program, regardless of the department, can apply to those who have completed the master's program with thesis, especially those who want to direct their career in the field of maritime and specialize in the field of maritime. Maritime Studies Graduate Programme aims to provide students with theoretical knowledge in the field they want to research, and to train academicians and practitioners who are open to global and global competition.
