    The two year accelerated BA (Hons) in Marketing & Communications offers a comprehensive and in-depth insight into the many different aspects of marketing in the fashion industry. You will graduate with the skills and knowledge to ensure your success in a future marketing role within the fashion industry. Marketing is an integral function in all fashion businesses, interpreting data to understand a company’s customers and competitors, which helps to inform what products are designed, produced, communicated and sold. This is an exciting time to study Marketing; the growth of online, social media and customer insight has led to growing importance of the role of Marketing and the range of roles that exist within it. Working in an industry that is undergoing such a fast pace of change requires graduates with cutting edge knowledge of digital developments. You will be introduced to the theory that underpins Marketing principles and strategies supported with application to real life industry scenarios. An ability to communicate is key for marketeers. You will develop the technical skills and aesthetic understanding to ensure you can produce, communicate and implement an effective and unique marketing proposition. To achieve this you will study specialist modules in Marketing Fundamentals, Creative Digital Skills, Visual Communications, Promotions, PR and Communication, and Digital and Social Media. The BA( Hons) Marketing & Communications in fashion degree is ideal if you want to work in the fashion industry and have the opportunity to identify opportunities and maximise them at a profit. You will need to use your creative and analytical skills side by side to think tenaciously and problem solve, often under the pressure of a tight deadline. As the range of roles is developing students with a wide range of interests can succeed in fashion Marketing and this type of career particularly suits students who like a dynamic, fast paced environment and working under pressure. .     Entry Requirements

    UCAS Tariff - 104 - 120 points
    A typical offer is between 104 and 120 UCAS points for entry to undergraduate courses, primarily from Level 3 equivalent qualifications such as A levels, a BTEC Extended Diploma or a Foundation Diploma. You can check how many points your qualifications are worth using the online UCAS Tariff Calculator. Due to the creative nature of our courses, you will be considered on your own individual merit and potential to succeed. We encourage you to get in touch if you are predicted points below this range, thinking about transferring from another institution, or if you have other qualifications or professional experience as we may be able to consider you. If English is not your first language, we accept a range of recognised language qualifications that are equivalent to the IELTS Academic minimum score of 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. If you require a Tier 4 student visa to study in the UK, you must take an approved Secure English Language Test (SELT) to fulfil government visa requirements.

    We may consider a standalone AS in a relevant subject, if it is taken along with other A Levels and if an A Level has not been taken in the same subject. However, you will not be disadvantaged if you do not have a standalone AS subject as we will not ordinarily use them in our offers.

    English Program Requirements


    If English isn't your first language, we'll need to see academic proof of your level of written and spoken English. We require a minimum International English language testing system (IELTS) score of 6.0 (or recognised equivalent*). This test must have been taken no earlier than two years before you start at the Fashion Retail Academy. * Trinity (taken in the UK) - 111 Cambridge ESOL Exams - CAE or FCE Cambridge English scale 176 Common European Framework - C1 - C2

    Fee Information

    £70 - recurring annual cost. £50-£200 - One off costs for the course duration (compulsory trips, final portfolios or shows, etc). £300 - Optional study visits and placements for the course duration. Additionally, if you need to bring equipment or materials with you, these will be outlined in your induction
