    About

    This course prepares you with a foundation in marketing and insight into cutting edge science and technology, in answer to the growing demand for expertise in all these areas. As an innovative marketing specialist in the emerging technologies sector youll help to design, research and successfully market new products and services. The Marketing, Innovation and Technology degree will teach you how to bridge the phase between the invention of a technology and its emergence on the market, sometimes called the “innovation gap”. Youll develop an entrepreneurial outlook, served by knowledge of web design, industrial design and communications, and an understanding of the processes involved in new product development. Youll be introduced to a range of technologies including ICT, social media, emerging life sciences and biotechnology. The programme is run by DCU Business School, together with the Faculty of Engineering and Computing and the Faculty of Science and Health.

    Entry Requirements

    Applicants presenting with GCE A Levels or the IB Diploma may be considered for direct entry into Undergraduate programmes at DCU. 

    Applicants who have completed an alternative qualification from this nation may be considered for direct entry into Undergraduate programmes at DCU.

     

    English Program Requirements

    In the case of all applications, evidence MUST be provided of competence in the English language. The list below indicates the minimum standards in the English language, which should be met for entry to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in DCU.

    Your cross-disciplinary skills will earn you membership to the Irish Computer Society. You’ll also be eligible to take the entrance exam to the Marketing Institute of Ireland.

    Postgraduate

    Apply through the Postgraduate Applications Portal. A fee of €50 applies. Make sure you read all the instructions carefully before you start your application.

    4. Upload Supplemental items (documents) 

    Once you have completed your application you will receive updates from the International on the progress of your application.

    International Foundation Programme

    Pre-sessional English programmes

    If you have a conditional offer of a place at DCU, but don’t satisfy DCU’s English language requirements, you may be able to take a five-week or 10-week presessional English programme on the DCU campus. Once you successfully complete this programme, you can progress to your full-time DCU programme.
