Our Academic courses in this discipline, are carefully designed to not only provide you with current academic theory and thought, but also to prepare you for work in a dynamic, data driven, online world.

To support this, we embed specialist knowledge such as marketing technologies and certifications, as well the broader soft skills required. You can enhance your employability further by undertaking a placement year.

With a focus on application, our courses equip you with the skills you need. You can apply your knowledge through consultancy projects via our Business Solutions Centre, or further enhance your employability with a year-long placement. Based in the capital city, you will benefit from LSBU Business Schools links and connections.

We offer the opportunity for all undergraduate Home/EU students to undertake a work placement, internship or work experience while studying afull-time course starting in September2022.

Why Marketing with Advertising and Digital Communications at LSBU?

You must have five GCSE passes at grade C or above – including English and Maths – to study any of our courses. We’ll also accept Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and English in place of GCSEs. If you completed your English and Maths GCSE under the new grading system, you’ll need a grade 4 or higher.

Today’s marketing recruiters are searching for a mixture of general and industry specific skills. Our course is designed to ensure that our marketing graduates stand out from the crowd in terms of their overall knowledge of relevant theory, as well as their familiarity with core digital marketing technology and ability to apply marketing concepts in a work environment.

The course is specifically designed to appeal to candidates expecting to pursue a career in the creative side of the marketing function, particularly Advertising and Marketing Communications. However, the overall degree fully prepares you for roles across the marketing spectrum, including, PR, Marketing Research, Brand Management and Digital Marketing.
