    Master of Applied Economics

    About

In today’s rapidly shifting global economy, economic literacy isn’t optional – it’s essential. The decisions made by governments, businesses and individuals impact our behaviours, wellbeing and the broader world. Applied economics plays a key role in this process by transforming complex data into meaningful insights that guide policy and strategy. From trade, investment trends and consumer behaviour to public health and sustainable development, those with a high-level understanding of economic forces are uniquely positioned to shape innovative strategies that benefit all levels of society.

The Master of Applied Economics will equip you with the skills to decode the economic forces shaping industries, markets and policy worldwide. Guided by expert academics and industry professionals, you’ll apply economic theories to real challenges through case studies and team projects that reflect the contemporary landscape. Small class sizes ensure your insights shape discussions, while a focus on communication will help you translate complex data into clear advice. Armed with the analytical and critical-thinking skills to anticipate economic shifts and drive informed decisions, you’ll be well-equipped to succeed across the public and private sectors.
