Highlights
- Complete this combined engineering master double degree and graduate with two qualifications in just two years.
- Ideal for practising engineers looking to improve their management and leadership skills while also gaining advanced knowledge in engineering technology with a specific skillset.
- Choose to specialise in one of five majors: bioprocess engineering, digital and robotic manufacturing, renewable power, smart transport and mobility, or water engineering.
- Undertake a supervised research project where you will manage and explain your findings and what they contribute to your field.
Upon graduation, you will have two master level qualifications in engineering management and engineering technology, giving you advanced knowledge and skills in these areas with a specific skillset in one of five majors.
Bioprocess engineering
Imagine and realise change using entrepreneur strategies, advanced design, collaborative decision-making, and innovation in ethical and sustainable ways. Graduates of the bioprocess engineering major will have the skills necessary to work in a range of industries such as energy, biomedical device, food, beverage, chemical, agriculture and pharmaceutical.
Digital and robotic manufacturing
Employ advanced specialist technical skills, analysis approaches, design, research, and data to find sustainable solutions to digital and robotic manufacturing problems. You will critically evaluate solutions against practice-informed performance and whole-of-life requirements.
Renewable power
Analyse and evaluate renewable power problems using technical approaches informed by contemporary practice to achieve innovative, critically informed solutions. Upon finishing this major, you will have the skills to work in a range of relevant industries, including, electricity network system operators, energy providers, renewable project developers, as well as engineering consulting companies.
Smart transport and mobility
Apply innovative, systematic approaches to plan, design, deliver and manage projects in smart transport and mobility in a way that assures sustainable outcomes over their whole lifecycle. Graduate able to work in a range of organisations and industries such as engineering consulting companies, construction companies, infrastructure management, and emergency services.
Water engineering
Effectively communicate water engineering problems, related complex data and information, and solutions in contemporary professional formats for diverse purposes and audiences. Undertake units in catchment hydrology and flood modelling, artificial intelligence in water modelling, and developing more sustainable and energy efficient water and wastewater treatment solutions.
