    Admission criteria

    To be considered for entry into this course, you must have one of the following:

    • A four-year degree in structural engineering, with:
      • A Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 65% (or equivalent)
    • A four-year degree in civil engineering, with:
      • A WAM of at least 65% (or equivalent), and either:
      • One year of documented relevant work experience, OR
      • 30% of the final year of the degree dedicated to structural engineering subjects.
    • A three-year undergraduate degree in structural engineering, with
      • A WAM of at least 65% (or equivalent), AND
      • At least two years of documented relevant work experience since graduation.
    • A three-year undergraduate degree in civil engineering, with
    • A WAM of at least 65% (or equivalent), AND
    • At least three years of documented relevant work experience since graduation.

If you've studied elsewhere, we'll assess your relevant prior studies and equivalent grades. Your final WAM may be adjusted depending on your previous institution's accreditation, subject grading, and pass marks.
