The Master of Health Leadership and Management/Master of Infectious Diseases Intelligence (Extension) enables you to specialise in both infectious disease intelligence and health management. With this degree, you will develop research skills and apply them while undertaking a scholarly project as part of the program.
During your studies, you will gain a sophisticated understanding of a complex body of multidisciplinary knowledge including: infectious diseases intelligence; leadership and workforce management; strategic planning and change management; quality improvement and health program and policy design; and implementation and evaluation.
The program fosters judgment-ready practitioners who can contribute to improving population health and work across a range of contexts including ministries and departments of health, government and non-government and voluntary organisations, primary care and community healthcare services in both public and private sectors.
