Master of Health Management and Leadership - Professional Practice
The Master of Health Management and Leadership comprises 96 credit points and builds upon knowledge from the Graduate Diploma. Students expand their health care management and leadership knowledge to include change management, digital health management as well as critically exploring governance, law and ethics in the healthcare environment. Students can tailor the course to their own needs by choosing one unrestricted elective of 8 credit points in the third year of the course. Students may choose an elective subject outside of the scope of health management and leadership but still relevant to their professional practice such as marketing, business, accounting, digital and social media marketing or information technology.
Master of Health Management and Leadership - Professional Research
The Master of Health Management and Leadership comprises 96 credit points. Students expand their health care management and leadership knowledge by exploring research in the area of healthcare management and leadership and in the third year undertake a yearlong research dissertation. Students will undertake original independent research, under the guidance of a research supervisor(s), involving critical evaluation of existing data and/or new data collection, analysis and interpretation. The student prepares a manuscript, based on the research undertaken, for publication in a peer reviewed journal. Students can tailor the course to their own needs by choosing one unrestricted elective of 8 credit points in the second year of the course.
