Master of Nursing Practice

The Master of Nursing Practice is a pathway for graduates of any Bachelor's degree to pursue a career as a registered nurse in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Nurses support people and whānau. They work in person-centered partnerships to deliver safe and equitable healthcare. They can practice across an array of health settings and are responsive to the healthcare needs of our country’s diverse population.

Entry requirements

To be accepted into this programme you'll need:

A Bachelor’s degree with an average grade of at least B+ in the final year of study

to meet the entry requirements of the Nursing Council of New Zealand/Te Kaunihera Tapuhi o Aotearoa

to have been accepted by the Head of School as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study

IELTS: Minimum IELTS overall score of 7.0, with no individual score of less than 7.0
