This course is designed for professionals aiming to excel in the property development sector, including those in valuation, construction, engineering, town planning, and architecture. You will acquire a broad knowledge of the property development cycle and the ability to apply this in various management roles or client interactions. The course offers flexibility, allowing you to customise your learning with electives in finance, urban design, and more, preparing you for a seamless transition into the Master of Planning if desired.

Course aims
At UTS, students gain a broad understanding of the property development cycle in a team-based learning environment, enabling students to move beyond niche disciplines into broader management level positions or work with clients in new ways. Advanced coursework in risk analysis, property markets, and large-scale development projects prepare students to deal with broader issues in the property industry.
Completion of the Valuation sub-major fulfills educational criteria for Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) accreditation by the Australian Property Institute. Alternatively, students can select from various specialized electives such as construction technologies, urban planning, digital marketing, finance, conservation, and commercial property. With a strong foundation in planning, students are also eligible for significant credit recognition in the Master of Planning (C04007).
