The purpose of the program is to provide a scholarly environment for the health sciences community that will stimulate and enhance learning and expand knowledge by conducting research.
The objective of this concentration is to impart knowledge and to develop critical thinking, research specific skills and communication skills in an area of applied health research with a special focus on the discipline of implementation science (also known as knowledge translation or knowledge mobilization). Studies can be directed towards a quantitative empirical lens or a mixed-methods empirical lens.
