Within the current turbulent and volatile business environment organisations are actively restructuring their supply chains and operations to remain competitive. Rapid technological advances, global distribution operations, tighter relationships with fewer suppliers and increased reliance on outsourcing and subcontracting have sharpened the need for advanced logistics and supply chain management capabilities. With sustainability being a primary driver in long-term strategic planning, future leaders are now at a pivotal moment. Future leaders need to develop their skills to utilise advances in technology and incorporate analytics to rethink their practices and transform supply chains.
The Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management will equip graduates with the requisite skills and knowledge to enable organisations, societies, governments and supply chains to manage shocks and disruption and maintain their business continuity and competitiveness. The programme aims to meet the growing need for Logistics and Supply Chain Management experts who can analyse complex information from multiple sources and provide data driven sustainable solutions to complex logistics and supply chain management problems. Delivered over one academic year, the underlying philosophy is to provide a diverse and challenging range of learning experiences in which students explore an appropriate body of knowledge and become future industry leaders.
