The MBA (FinTech) offers a FinTech pathway through our dynamic and contemporary MBA degree - designed to produce business leaders of the future. The future of financial transactions, applications and management of finances is expected to be impacted heavily by FinTech. The importance of understanding the trends and the innovations in the financial industry is evidenced by the application of existing FinTech such as cryptocurrency, crowdfunding, mobile payment systems and international remittances. Students choosing this pathway will have a good grasp of not only the foundations and applications of FinTech but also on the strategic implementation of FinTech.

Our course is flexible and accessible. Full-time students attend during the day while part-time students attend during the evenings so you can tailor your attendance around your availability.

You'll understand the importance of Industry 4.0 and FinTech in the current business environment.  Gain a thorough understanding of the assumptions, logical structure and limitations of business, management and marketing concepts, theories and ideas. Explore the management of finance, including the use of accounting and other information systems for managerial applications. 

Reflect on the importance of technological innovations in the current age and time. Develop critical thinking skills to evaluate the relevance of diverse business and management theories and concepts. Apply these theories and concepts to various issues and contexts. 

Subject-based practical skills will teach you how to identify the internal and external sources of Big Data and strategic information required for modelling organisational performance. You'll demonstrate an advanced critical understanding of current issues relevant to the FinTech industry. 

The programme will also offer you an optional placement year, enabling you to gain FinTech management experience and effectively connect your university experience with it.
