Foundation year degrees are designed for students who have the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the formal qualifications to enter their chosen Honours degree programme.

Mechanical engineers use their knowledge of fundamental engineering principles like mechanics, materials, thermo-fluids and computer-aided design to analyse and design objects and systems with motion.

This degree combines the fundamentals of traditional engineering courses with our long experience of providing a rounded education to graduates. This ensures you’re prepared to work in a range of industrial sectors. You’ll also develop skills in user needs and business planning.

Diploma from a technical / vocational or health college / institute with a GPA of 2.0/5 or 60-64%

Successful completion of on year of appropriate study at a recognised KSA university with a GPA 2.5/5 (65-69%)
