Medical Science About the course Within the Medical Science Extended Major, multiple specialisations in biomedical disciplines are offered to enable breadth and depth of learning in your field of interest. Specialisations include Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing, Anatomy and Reproductive Biology, Genetics, Human Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Microbiology and Immunology, and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Students take a set of core units in Levels 1 and 2, along with their chosen specialisation units. In Level 3, students complete their specialisation units plus two body systems units. This multi-disciplinary program delivered by award winning educators and researchers will support students to think critically and creatively.
