About

Our lessons are hybrid: The summer courses are available as online courses or as attendance classes. In this course, you will improve your knowledge of German as an academic language. The goal of the course is to broaden the participants' spectrum of academic expression, thus advancing their ability to communicate in an academic and a scientific manner to a high level. The general structures of German as an academic language can be found in all disciplines. Therefore, this course does not deal with specific terminology, but rather it imparts content that is of relevance to academic life in general. Textbook:Â Graefen/Moll (2011), Wissenschaftssprache Deutsch, ISBN: 978-3-631-60948-4 (All participants must have the textbook at the beginning of the course. The book is not included in the course fee.)
