Entry requirements
A 2:2 degree with honours in an Economics or related discipline, including degrees where Economics is a "minor" subject. Evidence of mathematical/quantitative ability is required.
We do consider all applications where there is evidence of exceptional performance in modules relevant to the programme of study, significant relevant work experience or professional qualifications.

This degree will prepare you for a variety of roles, particularly involving the application of advanced economics and finance theory to commercial money markets and banking. Developing applied IT skills through using Thomson Reuters Datastream and other financial databases and software systems as part of your modules, you will also be armed with the latest technical know-how to kick-start your career.
According to your location and career goals, you can choose to work in public or private sector roles, from large multinational banks, to government departments such as The Government Economic Service (GES). You might choose to forge a career in government economics via the HM Treasury, or the Bank of England also recruits graduates for its two-year Graduate Development Programme.
