MSc in Logistics Engineering (English)

About

Human and commercial transport is increasing at an increasing rate in the world (References). Logistics, as defined by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), the worlds largest logistics organization; It is the process of planning, implementing and supervising the procedures necessary for the efficient ransportation and storage of all products and related information, including services, from the point of origin to the destination, in line with the needs of the customer. This definition includes inward, outward, internal and external movements. Based on this definition, Logistics Management and Industrial Engineering departments provide training at various levels on various topics within the field. However, the importance of the designs of this increasing amount of logistics systems and the efficiency of their work are equally important. The Masters program in Logistics Engineering will be opened under the fields of International Logistics Management and Industrial Engineering to train individuals equipped with the necessary methods and software skills in transportation, storage, planning of procedures, implementation and supervision of goods and services.

Entry Requirements

Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Min. Graduation Degree should be : 2.30 / 4.00 Students must obtain one of the following exams: GRE: Min. 151 or GMAT: 465 or ALES: Min. 60 Quantitative To be a graduate of bachelors degree program at Departments of Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mathematics at Faculty of Science and Letters, Departments of Faculty of Maritime, International Logistics or similar programs at Faculty of Business Administration or Economic and Administrative Sciences The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Turkish. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.

English Program Requirements

Students who have applied for Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree programmes provided in English, are obligated to take the Yasar University English Proficiency Test (FLAT). Exam registration is completed during the matriculation process. Direct entry to first year of the program is achieved with a minimum score of 65/100 in this exam. Students achieving below this score will be required to take a year of English preparation before entering the faculty.

Exemption from the English Preparation Year may also be gained by submitting passing scores in one of the following equivalent English Language Tests:
TOEFL IBT
CAE
CPE
PTE

The Yasar University FLAT Examination is not valid for PhD Candidates. Students who are applying to PhD program must submit one of the exams listed above.

According to the legislation accepted by the State Higher Education Council of Turkish Republic, IELTS is not accepted as a valid examination for English language exemption at all educational degrees.
