Overview The Meredith College Theatre program entertains and educates the Meredith College community and the Triangle area with four main-stage productions and up to four student led productions each year. Theatre majors can expect a rigorous training program and will receive ample opportunity to perform, manage, and design based upon her drive and area of interest. We offer a B.A. in Theatre, a K-12 Licensure in Theatre, and a Musical Theatre concentration. The faculty are all active professionally in their area of expertise and frequently offer students the opportunity to gain experience outside the college campus.Students will be able to envision, create and produce artistic works, specifically in the field of Musical Theatre. Our program will educate and inspire students, allowing them to meet the opportunities available in the work of Musical Theatre. CareersWhile earning a Bachelor of Arts in theatre, majors can focus in performance, production, or musical theatre.K-12 licensure in theatre arts is available for those who wish to teach. In addition, a theatre minor and an arts management minor are also offered.
