Nanotechnology is the nano-sized implementation of the existing science, or a more modern word, rearrangement of the existing sciences by using never made materials. Grouping sciences under an umbrella, crossings and small borders between the different sciences processing at nano-scale of Nanotechnology is basically queried. Nanotechnology is a multi-functional field containing scientific disciplines such as applied physics, materials science, interface and particle science, machine-physics, molecular chemistry and self-renewal machinery, textiles and robotics, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, biological engineering and electrical engineering. Many countries around the world are rapidly investing manpower and material in various fields with applications in nanoscience and nanotechnology.
Nanoscience and Nanoengineering programme will be different from the current programmes on the following basis:
1. Size-related issues and processes will be observed through nano-scale.
2. Apparatus calibrated for nano-scale research will be utilized.
3. Design and production will be resized to nano-scale.
4. Most recent technology and measurement techniques will be used.
5. Natural life or processes will be mimicked.
