    Today's environmental problems demand professionals who understand not only the science behind the problems, but also the social, political and legal issues connected to the conservation and management of natural resources.

    In this program, you will learn to manage natural resources from a broad range of perspectives. You will develop a systems view of natural resources through a series of courses that explore the field as it relates to ecology, human behavior, policy, law, and practical tools and technology.

    Designed as a terminal degree, this course-based, advanced program is ideal for mid- and executive-level working professionals who want to enhance their educational credentials in natural resource management without disrupting their careers.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    Applicants must have a minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 grade scale equivalent to U.S. bachelor’s degree. If your GPA meets the minimum admission requirements, the department of major will determine if your overall academic record and test scores meet department requirements.

    Note: If you do not meet the minimum 3.00 GPA, your application can be considered for admission if you:

    • Earned an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher for your last 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits.

    OR

    • Worked in the program specific profession for 5+ years. 
    • Obtained a letter of support from a faculty member in the department. 
    • Wrote a detailed statement/essay describing your professional experience and potential to succeed academically

    How to Apply

    Students must submit:

    • An international application for admission.
    • $70 application fee (nonrefundable).
    • Official secondary school transcripts identifying subjects taken, marks received and graduation date. If you have not yet graduated from your secondary school, a transcript showing all completed work may be accepted for early admission. External examination reports should be provided when applicable.
    • Official transcripts with subjects and marks received from any colleges or universities attended.
    • An official TOEFL score or equivalent.

    • A statement of your activities if you've had a gap in education.

    Please note: Students applying after the deadlines above or with incomplete files by these deadlines can still be considered for admission if they have their educational credentials evaluated by a professional evaluation service.
