Appalachian's Non-profit Administration Graduate Certificate is a 15 credit-hour non-degree program that serves non-profit professionals and current graduate students.
As a student, you will learn the unique management skills necessary to succeed in the non-profit sector. The program also offers flexibility for you to develop the knowledge necessary for your particular field of interest.
As a student, you will complete:
Three core courses:
- Grant Writing and Fundraising
- Non-profit Management
- Applied, project-based research
Two electives chosen from:
- Budgeting and Finance
- Communications
- Social Work
- Others (based on your interests)
The program can be completed full time or part time. Students have the option to apply the credit hours to a graduate degree, such as the Master of Public Administration.
