The doctor of nursing practice (D.N.P.) program prepares graduates to perform at the highest level of advanced nursing practice. The foundation for practice expertise with a population health focus enables the graduate to plan and lead evidenced-based interventions, quality improvement strategies and health policy changes that address patient safety, promote patient-centered care and reduce health disparities among diverse groups.
