The Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (AC PNP) Postgraduate Certificate (PGC) is designed to prepare experienced advanced practice registered nurses (APRN) to meet the specialized physiologic and psychological needs of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with complex acute, critical, and chronic health conditions.
As an AC PNP, you will provide complex monitoring and manage intensive therapies in a variety of settings, including but not limited to, inpatient and outpatient hospital, emergency care, and home care. Specialty areas of practice vary and continue to emerge. AC PNPs collaborate with an interprofessional team to provide optimal patient care.
