    In a world of increasing globalisation, so too increases the need for world class operations managers who can work effectively in an international business environment and utilise data to drive valuable insights to make informed business decisions.

    On this programme, you will study in depth the function of operations management and its role within a successful organisation. You will look at managing operations and complex situations while developing the skills and knowledge to leverage data effectively and drive strategic business decisions. You will become competent to effectively improve operational efficiency, while exploring cutting-edge developments and applying predictive analytics to streamline global supply chain operations, managing the procurement processes and developing the skills to deliver complex projects.

    There is a high level of technical input throughout this programme and your learning will be informed by examples from numerous manufacturing and service settings. You will acquire knowledge of the tools required to support businesses when planning and scheduling their resources and streamlining their processes.

    What you need to know

    ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

    International applicants will be required to show a proficiency in English. An IELTS score of 6.0 (with no element below 5.5) is proof of this. If you need to improve your written and spoken English, you might be interested in our English language courses.

    Undergraduate degree

    Normally a minimum 2:2 honours degree or equivalent. A wide range of professional qualifications are also accepted, either in partial or complete fulfilment of entry requirements.

    Accreditation Of Prior Learning (APL)

    We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully.

    The Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) process could help you to make your work and life experience count. The APL process can be used for entry onto courses or to give you exemptions from parts of your course.

    Two forms of APL may be used for entry: the Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) or the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).
