    About

The Department of Education Policy Studies and Practice (EPSP) offers an Education Policy Studies and Practice Graduate Certificate. The certificate is part of a graduate education and research initiative of EPSP in partnership with Maricopa Community College District (MCCD) and the Phoenix Union High School District (PUHSD).

The EPSP department combines the K-12 focus with postsecondary education to create a P-20 perspective that taps into the dominant public discourse and professional practice of education and policymakers today.

The certificate includes nine units of credit from existing graduate courses and adds to the master's and doctoral degrees and Arizona State professional certification offerings in EPSP. The certificate is designed to educate students at the graduate and post- doctoral levels in educational policy, scholarship, leadership development and implementation in the organizational environments and cultures from preschool to higher education (P-20). In addition, the certificate provides students with an advanced understanding of educational research, policy, performance-based funding in strategic management, and preparation of scholarly reports and publication.
