Our newly designed Real Estate courses are ideal for those looking to get ahead in their career. Whether you already have a background in the built environment or are changing career, our aim is to develop your expertise and give you the skills to flourish in the real estate industry.

You will work alongside other built environment postgraduates, gaining valuable contacts and insights into other disciplines. We offer different course options, depending on your circumstances:

• Cognate version: If you hold an undergraduate Surveying/Real Estate degree or relevant experience, you could apply for the ‘Surveying graduates’ route as you will study fewer modules; your previous study will be taken into account. This is a new option this year for Real Estate please contact the course leader if it is not showing online.
• Non-Cognate version: If you do not hold an undergraduate Built Environment degree, you should apply for our ‘Conversion’ course. Two supplementary modules at the beginning of the course bring you up to speed in relation to Valuation & Surveying, Sustainable Construction before you embark on the master’s level modules. These supplementary modules are a distinguishing feature of the course and are highly valued by students and their employers. There is a higher fee for this course because you will be studying more credits.
• Fast Track to a Professional Qualification: Building on our success of piloting our new courses last year we have been working hard with the Professional Bodies, CABE, RICS and CIOB, to align courses. This year we have juggled the timetable to allow a fast track for those working in the industry but need an Academic Qualification for professional registration. We are looking to deliver a PGDip in approx. 6 months, part-time (one day per week) in Semester 13 weeks Oct to Jan, and full-time in Semester 2 (2 days per week) for 13 weeks Jan to May. Those who want to complete an MSc can then study from home over the summer. Fees start at £7666.67 full time for UK Students and £10666.67 for International students. Course Code 5105 PG Building Surveying. Real estate will also have an option, course code to follow.
