The Planning program is a concentration within the Resource and Environmental Management Major which leads to the professional designation of Registered Professional Planner through the Planning Institute of British Columbia. Planning areas include urban sustainability planning, Indigenous planning, and environmental and natural resource planning.

English language requirement
English is the language of instruction at SFU. All applicants, regardless of country of origin or citizenship status, will be required to have demonstrated competence in the English language prior to admission.
