    Our Political Economy of Emerging Markets MSc offers a distinctive approach to the study of development. We focus on the political economy of emerging markets, especially national development strategies and the underlying politics and institutions that underpin such strategies. The course also covers subjects such as development theory, business and state relations and public finance management. The programme allows you to develop your own research interests on particular countries and regions.

    Applicants who have completed a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Jordan will need to demonstrate the following grades to be considered for a Postgraduate course at King's:

    UK degree classification Jordanian equivalency

    High 2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    (equivalent to 65% overall)

    GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 80%

    2:1 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 75%

    High 2:2 Class Bachelor (Honours) degree

    GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0

    Overall score of 70%

    Postgraduate research courses

    A Master's degree from a recognised university with high grades considered for programmes requiring a UK Master's degree.
