Postgraduate Certificate in Property Practice PGCertPropPrac

    About

The Postgraduate Certificate in Property Practice (PGCertPropPrac) is a shorter qualification that will enable non-property graduates to build their business capabilities and be equipped to enter or progress careers in property.

You can choose from three available pathways in this 60-point programme: Valuation specialisation, Property Management specialisation and a generalist pathway.

The specialist pathways are suited to non-property graduates with work experience who have focused educational goals and individuals with overseas experience seeking a New Zealand-specific context to their learning.

These pathways are designed to develop a strong set of advanced capabilities in property theory and practice that will enable you to succeed across a wide range of property industry roles including becoming a property valuer, property manager, developer, commercial sales broker or leasing agent.

Students usually complete the programme over 6 months (30 points per quarter) or 12 months (15 points per quarter).

The PGCertPropPrac also provides a qualifying pathway to the Master of Property Practice for graduates who do not meet the GPA for direct admission to the masters degree.
