    Power Engineering (Master of Science)

    About

In the interdisciplinary Masters degree programme in Power Engineering, students concern themselves with technologies designed to ensure the efficient, environmentally sound and economical generation, transformation, storage and utilisation of energy. Thanks to the research-oriented application of equal proportions of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, students gain the knowledge required to further develop existing and new technologies into regenerative energies in times of climate change and the scarcity of resources, forging new paths.

Students of Power Engineering should possess strong powers of imagination and abstraction; it is also important that they have a technical flair, an interest in mathematics, and a logical, pragmatic and realistic way of thinking. Good foreign language skills are very important for entering the job market. Solid English language skills are therefore advantageous.
