    About

    Clermont College offers a Pre-Health Science program that provides students with the appropriate course work to transition to the Pre-Athletic Training track within the College of Allied Health Sciences at University of Cincinnati.  Continuation into that program specifically prepares students for entry into graduate level Athletic Training programs, which also can also be completed at the Clifton campus. The program also provides you with alternative options at the bachelor's level students a variety of fitness related certifications and careers.  

    The associates degree program provides students with a comprehensive background in the basic sciences which is then combined with applied studies in exercise physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, sports and wellness during the bachelors program.

    Entry Requirements

    Students enrolled in Jordanian national curriculum are asked to report their current subjects on the “Current or Most Recent Year Courses” section of the Common App. Advise your school counselor, headmaster, director, etc. to upload the following documents to the Common App:

    • Transcripts with final Preparatory school results for year 10, coursework and scores for year 11, and as much as is available for year 12 by the application deadline
    • If you have completed secondary school, official copy of the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi), accompanied by a certified word-for-word English translation

    If the transcript is issued in a language other than English, it must be accompanied by an English translation.

    The most common career goal for students in the Pre-Health Sciences Athletic Training track is becoming an athletic trainer.

    According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the job outlook for athletic trainer is expected to grow 23% by 2030 (much faster than the national average) and the current median pay is 49,860 per year.
