Pre-Health Sciences Pre-Physical Therapy

Clermont College offers a Pre-Health Sciences track in Physical Therapy.  This track provides students with an Associates Degree program that is specifically designed for students to transition to the Health Sciences Pre-Physical Therapy major within the College of Allied Health Sciences at the UC Clifton campus.    

This associates degree program provides students with a comprehensive background in the basic sciences which is then combined with applied studies in exercise physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, sports and wellness puts most graduates in a position to be competitive graduate school candidates.

The most common career path for students in the Pre-Health Sciences – Physical Therapy track is becoming a physical therapist.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the job outlook for physical therapist is expected to grow 21% by 2030 (much faster than the national average) and the current median pay is $91,010 per year.

Physical therapists work with people across the lifespans and generally work in:
